Thieving B**stards! PDF Print E-mail

Thought you might like to know that I went down to the Barn to tidy up yesterday (18/9/2008) and found that thieves had stolen my camp bed and the club cooker and kettle. Frown Oh, and also the small lead acid battery powering the lights. Needless to say I didn't bother with any tidying...

Martin.

How crap is that, my imediate thought would be its someone that knows that someone uses the barn!!! i would find it odd if someone was out walking and thought they'd have a look in an un-suspecting barnople can't leave anything alone.

Its going to be a case of emptying everything out in the future then is it!!!

Wasters!!!

farmer
I even wondered whether it might have been the farmer as everything, (gate and door), was tied up securely. Though maybe the actual thieves just left it all wide open and the farmer just secured everything afterwards?

maybe?
Yeh thats possible, it just puzzles me that it has happened in such a remote area, why would anyone other tahn locals etc go looking in there??

Im sure at some point with a bit of investgative work we'll find out who might have done it.

How are you anyway Martin.

You don't think Ian may have taken it for some reason back up supplies if he's out in his caravan???
:sigh :sigh

Nope wasn't me. Thats shit news. Bastards! I never thought that would happen. Guess we have to lock it now then (perhaps tell the farmer we're going to lock it and check thats ok?)

Funny as my mum text me today to see why the doors were open and whether they should be (she'd driven passed and noticed)

Fuckers...I'll be on the war path now!

Darfar / Dafar
You should be aware that Darfar (as in Darfar Bridge, Pot, etc.) is misspelt as Dafar on OS maps of a certain scale. On larger scaled (more detailed) maps it is correct as you can see on the excellent Magic web site. This map shows the correct spelling and this one the incorrect spelling. (Then of course there's Darfur, which is a place in Africa...)
