hut cooking facilities PDF Print E-mail

Hi all. As discussed with Pete and Karen last Sunday I have purchased a nice sized gas cooking stove and a kettle from Millets for leaving in the hut. (Less than £30 in all.) I'll also fill my big water container and leave that there as well. So you'll all be able to have a brew or a hot meal down there anytime you want in future.

See you all Sunday sometime. I'll be up at the normal time and should be stopping overnight too.

Cheers, Martin.

Darfar / Dafar
You should be aware that Darfar (as in Darfar Bridge, Pot, etc.) is misspelt as Dafar on OS maps of a certain scale. On larger scaled (more detailed) maps it is correct as you can see on the excellent Magic web site. This map shows the correct spelling and this one the incorrect spelling. (Then of course there's Darfur, which is a place in Africa...)
